On December 16 of this year, the Deputy Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Turdikulova Shaklokhan Utkurovna and the Head of the Department of Human Capital Development Kadirova Fazilat Shukurovna visited Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. During the visit, they got acquainted with the scientific-educational and production laboratories of the institute’s Departments of Transport Engineering and Radioelectronics. Also, the basic doctoral student met with independent researchers and intern researchers. During the interview, the problems and suggestions related to the scientific activity of the main doctoral students and independent researchers were studied. In addition, on increasing the scientific potential of the institute (increasing the number of defenses to 45 by 2023), transforming the system of working with projects announced by the Ministry of Innovative Development, entering (THE IMPACT RANKING) as a reporter, increasing the prestige of international ratings, all creating a profile for teachers on Researchgate, ORCID, LinkedIN, Google Scholar and other databases, increasing the Hirsch index of professors on Scopus and Web of Science databases, sending them to scientific internships, introducing a KPI system for professors and teachers at the institute and foreign roundtable discussions on the implementation of projects in cooperation with universities were held.
