The online meeting which was held with professors and teachers of the Department of Agriculture and Food Processing of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and representatives of the Faculty of Agriculture of EGE University of Turkey

On January 20, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., 7 professors and teachers of the Department of Agriculture and Food Processing of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, headed by the head of the International Cooperation Department, U. Rakhmatov, and EGE University of Turkey the online meeting was held with the representatives of the faculty. As representatives of EGE University, dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Banu Yücel, Deputy Dean Fulsen Özen and experts in the field and professors Cem Karagozlu, Bülent Çakmak, Yusuf Kurucu, Hakan Bayraktar participated in the online meeting. The assistant of the Department of Agriculture and Food Processing of our institute, Hoshimova Shahlo, gave a speech for the presentation and briefly introduced the department, informed about the professors working in the department, projects and researches in the department. passed. Also, Hoshimova Shahlo made several proposals related to the field of agriculture for EGE University. Banu Yücel, dean of EGE University, supported projects related to soil fertility improvement, production of soybeans and dry milk. He spoke to Yusuf Kurucu to give detailed information on improving soil fertility. Recommendations and explanations were given by Yusuf Kurucu. Utkirjon Rakhmatov, head of the international cooperation department, offered to implement the above projects within TUBITAK. This proposal was approved by the representatives of both sides, and they agreed to add soybean production, grape plantation and dry milk production projects in addition to the Soil Fertility project. EGE University professor-teacher Cem Karagozlu spoke at the meeting and mentioned the need to develop scientific works and write scientific articles in parallel with the above project. During the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on the development of mutual cooperation and concluded the online meeting.
