Information about the department of “Textile processing”

At the Department of “Textile Processing” currently two educational areas 5320900 – correspondence bachelors in Design and Technology of Light Industry Products (by type of production);

In addition, 5320900 – distance learning bachelors in Design and Technology of Light Industry Products (by type of production).

A total of 227 students are enrolled in the majors, including 61 first course students, 58 second course students, 53 third course students, and 55 fourth course students.

In the 2020-2021 academic year, students are taught in 49 specialized disciplines in highly organized classrooms.

The department has two lecture rooms, three workshops and three training laboratories, as well as to accelerate the integration between education and production, the harmonization of theory and practice. On the basis of cooperation agreements signed between the foreign enterprises LLC “JIZZAX TEXTILE”, LLC “JIZZAX-TOSHTEPA TEXTILE” and LLC “AZ-TEXTILE” branches of the department were established. Conditions are created and lessons on specialty subjects are conducted. There are a total of 22 professors and teachers, and it is noteworthy that the majority of professors and teachers working in the department are young people.

In addition, in order to provide students with in-depth knowledge, scientific advice to young professionals, the head of the department “Textile Processing” with the proposals and initiatives put forward by Ph.D. Doniyorov Bektosh Bahodirovich, a number of leading scientists of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, D.Sc Associate Professor. Alimboyev Erkin Sharipovich; D.Sc Professor. Parpiyev Azim Parpiyevich; D.Sc Professor. Jumaniyozov Kadam Jumaniyozovich and Professor of the Namangan Institute of Engineering Technology Murodov Rustam Murodovich are widely involved in the educational process and today share their knowledge and advice with graduates and young scientists.

In accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 30, 2020 No. 168, 5 of them are professors and associate professors of our department.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH WORK OF TEACHERS OF THE DEPARTMENT

Information about the research activities carried out at the department:

– Advanced technologies for warp yarn for weaving. (B.Doniyorov’s research direction under the guidance of professor E.Sh.Alimbaev);

– Artistic decoration of fabrics by weaving. (D.Sc research direction of M.Doniyorova under the guidance of prof. E.Sh.Alimbaev);

– To study the impact of storage conditions on raw cotton quality. (PhD dissertation of M.Ismatova);

– Factors influencing yarn roughness and their reduction. (PhD dissertation of D. Kazakova under the supervision of prof. K. Jumaniyazov);

– To study the effect of technological equipment for processing raw cotton on fiber and yarn quality (PhD dissertation by F. Egamberdiev under the guidance of Prof. K. Jumaniyazov).

In order to provide students with meaningful leisure time, the department has organized two science circles “Skillful hands” and “Young technologists”, which are attended by 72 talented students..
