Uzbekistan-China: The bonds of cooperation are getting stronger

On January 22, 2024, in Beijing, China, the Uzbekistan-China Education Forum was held as part of the official state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the People’s Republic of China. During this forum, the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute signed cooperation agreements with the North China University of Technology and the Changshu University of Technology. Additionally, meetings were held with other leading universities in China as part of the forum program, and agreements on future cooperation were reached.

The Uzbekistan-China Education Forum continued on January 23 in the city of Tianjin. In this city, the forum on cooperation in higher education involves the leaders of higher education institutions in our country and the rectors of universities actively operating in Tianjin, including the Rector of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Alisher Usmonkulov, and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Doctor of Technical Sciences Jamshid Abdunazarov.

During the forum, Rector A. Usmonkulov gives a speech about our institute, providing detailed information about effective teaching technologies and production opportunities. A cooperation agreement was also signed between the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and the University of Foreign Languages of Tianjin as part of the forum program.

Subsequently, on January 24, a meeting was held with representatives of Tianjin Polytechnic University, Nanjing Polytechnic University, and Nanjing Institute of Transport Technology to discuss cooperation matters.

Agreements on future cooperation were also reached in discussions with entrepreneurs and investors.

Furthermore, the provision of a $25,000 donation to the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute was confirmed.
