INFORMATION ABOUT CHAIRS

Jaloliddin Rakhmatullaevich Turmatov,was born in 1976, Uzbek, higher education, graduated from the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Pedagogical Plant in 1999, completed scientific research in 2019 and became a teacher of pedagogical sciences.  Ph.D.

Turmatov Jaloliddin is the author of 35 scientific and methodological works, of which 7 were published in international and 10 national scientific journals and scientific conferences.

History of the department “GENERAL ENGINEERING”

In 1977, the Faculty of General Engineering was created at the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute, under which the departments “General Engineering” and “General Education” were created.  Associate Professor of the Department of General Mechanical Engineering M. Soatov was appointed Director.

In 1978, after the creation of the Jizzakh branch of TashPI, the Department of General Mechanics was separated from the Department of Technical Mechanics.  M. Khazratkulov was appointed director.

In 1992, in konnection with the establishment of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, the Department of “Technical Mechanics” was transformed into the Department of “Theoretical and Applied Mechanics” and became the head of the department.  Igamberdiev was confirmed.

In connection with the increase in the number of students at the institute and the number of disciplines taught at the department in different years, the department “Technology and mechanics of light industry” (associate professor H. Gamberdiev), the department “Mechanics” (associate professor A.Sh. Berdiyorov.), Departments  “General technical sciences” (Ph.D., associate professor M.Kh. Rakhmatullaev), the department “General technical sciences and agricultural mechanization” (Ph.D., associate professor G.G. Egamnazarov), “General Under  the names of the department of technical sciences, metrology and “standardization” (associate professor XXIgamberdiev), the department of “General technical sciences” (associate professor A.Kh. Zokirov), the department of “general technical sciences” (associate professor MA Ainakulov).

Currently, the department employs 23 professors and teachers.  6 candidates of sciences, associate professors, 5 senior teachers, 9 assistants, 3 associate professors.  The staff of the department is faced with such tasks as teaching methods, research work on the training of qualified personnel.

The department teaches the disciplines “Theoretical Mechanics”, “Technical Mechanics”, “Applied Mechanics”, “Mechanics”, “Construction Mechanics”, “Materials Science”.  For all subjects, teaching materials have been prepared in accordance with the educational process.  The Moodle distance learning system includes materials for all disciplines.

Achieved scientific results:

Over the past three years, professors and teachers of the department have received 12 scientific articles in international scientific journals, more than 30 scientific articles and abstracts at international conferences, 19 scientific articles, 2 certificates of the Republican Property Agency.

In order to deepen the knowledge of students, the main emphasis was placed on the effective use of new pedagogical and information technologies in the disciplines taught at the department.  Visual aids, electronic slides have been prepared and entered into the Institute’s IRC database.

Textbooks, guidelines, electronic slides created by the department are posted monthly on the Ziyonet network.  Also, in the current academic year, the teachers of the department have developed and used in the educational process 2 textbooks on the lack of textbooks on special subjects of the department.

More than 25% of lectures on the subjects taught at the department are organized problematically, which ensures the activity of students.  As a result, the average level of student performance in the disciplines taught at the department is increasing.  The rating system for evaluating students is strictly observed.  In terms of the number of hours devoted to self-study, students can improve their rating by preparing slides, crosswords, tests and scientific reports.

In the 2019/20 academic year, 2 teachers of the department improved their qualifications in the direction of “Mechanics” in the network (regional) center at the National University of Uzbekistan.

The following events are planned for the new 2020-2021 academic year:

– search for ways to increase the scientific potential of the department up to 50%;

– to discuss in detail the status of dissertations of independent researchers at meetings of the Academic Council of faculties and make appropriate decisions;

– On the basis of state grants, orders (contracts) of enterprises and organizations, the department prepares scientific and pedagogical personnel of specialists in relevant specialties and specialties, defends doctoral dissertations, implements research results, prepares documents for inventions and rationalization proposals and assistance in registration;

– Implementation of the implementation of innovative developments in production by professors and teachers of the department;

– ensuring the participation of employees of the department, young scientists and talented students in international scientific conferences and competitions;

– In cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, pay special attention to the involvement of students in experimental design and research work.
