On January 10 of this year, an event on the theme “National dress - a woman's beauty” was held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. The event was attended by the Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan Z. Makkamova, Head of the Jizzakh Regional Department of Family and Women G. Normurodova, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs S. Eshbekova, Head of the Department of Youth Work, Spirituality and Education M. Kholbekova, Dean's Advisors for Women's Affairs of the Faculties, Professors and Teachers, and Students. The event was opened by the Head of the Jizzakh Regional Department of Family and Women G. Normurodova, who spoke about the goals and objectives of the event. After that, the floor was given to the Chairman of the Committee on Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan Z. Makhamova, who is currently visiting our region. She spoke about the large-scale reforms being carried out in our country today, especially the amenities, opportunities and privileges being created for women. She emphasized that the opportunities created for women in our country for everyone who wants to work, do business, or study are enviable, and that these opportunities need to be appreciated and used effectively. She also spoke about the state policy being implemented in Uzbekistan to protect the rights and interests of women, achieve full participation of women in the socio-political life of the country, ensure gender equality and reproductive health, and the achievements we have made in this regard. During the event, the officials provided detailed answers to the questions of the participants. Next, talented female students studying at the Faculty of Cybersports performed songs and monologues.
