State flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a symbol of the state sovereignty of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The State Flag was approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 18, 1991 No. 407-XII "On the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan". The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a rectangular cloth consisting of three stripes of dark blue, white and dark green running along the entire length of the flag. The length of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is 250 centimeters, the width is 125 centimeters. The width of the blue, white and green stripes is the same. Each stripe is 40 centimeters. Red borders 2.5 centimeters wide are drawn around the edges of the white stripe in the middle of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On the obverse and reverse sides of the blue stripe in the upper part of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, near the handle, a white crescent moon and twelve white five-pointed stars are depicted. The image of the white crescent moon and twelve white five-pointed stars is placed in a rectangle measuring 70×30 centimeters from the center of the blue stripe. The white crescent moon is placed vertically with its pointed end facing the handle, 20 centimeters from the handle, and fits into a circle with a diameter of 30 centimeters. The twelve white five-pointed stars fit into a circle with a diameter of 6 centimeters. The distance between the circles is 6 centimeters. The stars are arranged lengthwise and vertically in the following order: three stars in the upper row, four in the middle row, and five in the lower row. The stars in the lower row are placed at a distance of 3.5 centimeters from the lower end of the crescent moon.
