State emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan has the following appearance: the sun spreads its golden rays over a blossoming valley framed by mountains and rivers, surrounded by a wreath made of ears of wheat on the left and branches of cotton with open bolls on the right. In the upper part of the emblem there is an octagon as a symbol of the independence of the Republic, with a crescent and a star inside it. In the center of the emblem is the Humo bird with outstretched wings, a symbol of happiness and love of freedom. In the lower part of the emblem, on the bow of the wreath ribbon representing the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the word «O'zbekiston» is written. In the color version of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan: the Humo bird and the rivers are silver; the sun, the ears of wheat, the cotton bolls and the inscription «O'zbekiston» are gold; the cotton branches and leaves, the mountains and the valley are green; the cotton in the bolls is white; the ribbon is in the three colors of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan; the octagon is light blue with a gold border; the crescent and stars are white.
