At the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, it has become a tradition to hold walking, running and physical education classes every Saturday among professors, teachers and students under the slogan “Healthy person - healthy nation”. About 350 professors, teachers and about 250 students living in student dormitories and rented accommodation participated in today's sports classes. At the end of the classes, an award ceremony was held for the competitions among professors and teachers in five sports under the slogan “Brave men protect the homeland” on the occasion of January 14 - Defenders of the Fatherland Day. The main goal of these sports classes is to promote a healthy lifestyle.
