Information about the administrative department and archival activities The administrative department is part of the structural structure of the institute and operates directly under the rector's management. The administrative department and archive are responsible for the following main tasks: Registration, reproduction, delivery to structural departments, and storage of internal and external organizational orders and orders related to the activities of the institute; Registration of service correspondence, information documents, incoming and outgoing letters and letters (correspondence) addressed to the heads of the institute (rectors and vice-rectors), distribution to relevant departments, and sending replies to addressees; Conducts such work as issuing necessary extracts from documents upon request, and destroying expired documents on the basis of acts. The archive is part of the structure of the administrative department of the institute and is directly under the rector's management in accordance with the organizational structure approved for the academic year. The archive is managed by the archive manager, accepted by order of the rector. The archive includes the positions of the archive director and archivist in accordance with the approved staffing table. The archive director and the positions within it work on the basis of job descriptions separately approved by the rector.
The archive has the following main tasks: The JizPI archive is responsible for receiving, accounting, sorting, using and preparing documents for state storage. Assigns fund serial numbers to collections and documents accepted into the archive.; Organizes an examination to determine the scientific and practical value of documents stored in the archive, provides methodological assistance in examining the value of documents in the course of work; Prepares documents for state storage and submits them within the deadlines established by the Regulation on the National Archive Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Organizes the use of documents and provides references, extracts and copies of documents to interested organizations and citizens in the prescribed manner. Taking into account the specifics of the organization, participates in the development of regulatory and methodological documents (instructions, recommendations, regulations, lists of documents with storage periods, etc.) on archival work and work with documents in business, and coordinates them with the bodies and institutions of the "Uzarkhiv" agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan; (paragraph as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 131 dated March 18, 2004).
