Khakberdiev Shukhrat was born in 1981, is an Uzbek by nationality, has a higher education, is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry, graduated from the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute in 2007 with a master's degree in chemistry, in 2010 he was a trainee-researcher at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, in 2013 he was a senior research fellow at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, and since 2017 he has been the head of the Chemistry Department at the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute. Khakberdiev Shukhrat is the author of more than 200 scientific and methodological works, including 21 educational and methodological works, 3 monographs, 7 patents for electronic lessons and 4 textbooks. His scientific works have been published in scientific journals in England, India, Austria, and Russia.
History of the Department of Chemistry
The Department of "Chemistry" was established on October 10, 2017, and Shukhrat Makhramovich Khakberdiev was appointed as the head of the department. Today, a total of 53420400 students are studying in the department in the bachelor's degree program "Chemical Technology". Of these: 1 student is studying on a grant basis, 1 student is studying on a fee-based contract basis.
Achieved scientific results:
The professors and teachers of the Department of "Chemistry" carried out a wide range of activities in scientific research and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel in 2021-2025, and carried out a number of positive works. On September 23, 2021, Bobomurodova Sanobar Yunusovna successfully defended her candidate's dissertation in technical sciences. The professors and teachers of the department publish articles in foreign scientific journals, journals under the AAC, journals under the SCOPUS index, and at various conferences. In the first quarter of 2025, Kurbanova Latofat Mamadiyovna successfully defended her PhD in Chemistry. Today, the scientific potential of the department is 46%.
FOR 2021-2025, THE FOLLOWING MEASURES ARE PLANNED TO BE IMPLEMENTED:
- search for ways to increase the scientific potential of the department to 50%; - conduct a detailed discussion at the meetings of the faculty scientific councils on the status of the implementation of independent researchers' dissertations and make appropriate decisions; - train specialist scientific and pedagogical personnel in the relevant specialty and specialties at the department on the basis of state grants, orders (contracts) from enterprises and organizations, assist in the defense of doctoral dissertations, the implementation of research results into practice, the preparation and execution of documents on invention and rationalization proposals; - implementation of issues of implementing innovative developments created by the professors and teachers of the department in production; - holding an international scientific and practical conference at the department; - ensuring the active participation of talented students and young scientists in various conferences and competitions; - paying special attention to involving students in experimental design and scientific research work in cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan; - covering innovative developments and scientific research work created by the professors and teachers of the department in the media. - Regular work of professors and teachers with talented students of the groups affiliated with the department, providing scientific and practical assistance. Advanced pedagogical and information technologies are being effectively used in the subjects taught at the department. During the academic year, the main attention was paid to the effective use of new pedagogical and information technologies in order to provide students with comprehensive and in-depth knowledge. Visual aids, electronic slides have been prepared for all subjects and included in the institute's ARM database and HEMIS system. Educational technologies have been created for all subjects taught at the department based on modern pedagogical and information technologies. Also, students of the chemistry department are provided with a modern chemical laboratory and laboratory equipment. Textbooks, methodological instructions, electronic slides created in the department are posted on the Ziyonet electronic network every month.
