In order to popularize science, the educational forum "Quantum Week in Uzbekistan" was held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute at the initiative of the State Corporation "Rosatom" of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education. The purpose of the forum is to popularize knowledge in the field of the priority scientific direction "quantum computing", exact sciences and quantum technologies, achievements of modern science, and opportunities for improving the skills of young people in this area. The “Quantum Week in Uzbekistan” was attended by a representative of the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, the General Director of JV “Quant” LLC Maxim Igorevich Ostras, other employees of the Department for the Development of Vocational Education of JV “Quant” LLC, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute S. Eshbekova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations J. Abdunazarov, deans of faculties, heads of departments, professors and teachers, and students and youth. At first, a delegation of 7 people from the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation was solemnly welcomed. The delegation members got acquainted with the activities of the Scientific and Practical Center for Research on Alternative Energies of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, as well as with the quantum laboratory equipment and literature available at the institute. Within the framework of this project, lectures were given under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty of "E-Sports" J. Hamidov and the regional coordinator of the project, Associate Professor of the Department of "Radio Electronics" Sergey Sattarov. A number of professors and teachers also participated with their lectures: - Professor of the University of Texas at Dallas, Head of the Samarkand Quantum Center Anvar Zohidov with a lecture on the topic "DEVELOPMENT OF QUANTUM COMPUTERS WITH THE NECESSARY QUBITS"; - General Director of JV "Quant" LLC Maxim Ostras with a lecture on the topic "QUANTUM SENSORS"; - Dmitry Chermoshentsev, Group Leader of JV "Quant" LLC, with a lecture on the topic "NEW RESPONSE TO QUANTUM TECHNOLOGIES"; - Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute Jamshid Abdunazarov with a lecture on the topic "QUANTUM TECHNOLOGIES IN JIZAKH". The forum was held under the general leadership of the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, Spiritual and Educational Affairs S. Eshbekova. As part of this educational project at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, a quantum lesson was held at the lyceum at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. Under the leadership of the lyceum director Matluba Goziyeva and Kasamara Valeria Aleksandrovna, a seminar training was organized for lyceum students and students of school No. 1 in the city of Jizzakh. The lesson was held with students of school No. 1 named after A.S. Pushkin, schools No. 5 and No. 19, and the academic lyceum "Sayiljoyi". Specialists of the Russian Quantum Center gave lectures on quantum technologies, showed an educational film, conducted practical exercises and quantum games at a laser educational table. The winners of the competition were awarded prizes from the Rosatom State Corporation. A roundtable discussion was held with the leadership of regional higher education institutions in the city of Jizzakh, in particular, with Marat Umarov, director of the Jizzakh branch of Kazan Federal University. As a result of the consultations, it is planned to open new areas of undergraduate education with the support of Rosatom, as well as implement joint projects in quantum technologies. It was agreed to hold the “Quantum Week in Uzbekistan” days annually in the Jizzakh region. The events within the framework of the “Quantum Week in Uzbekistan” in the city of Jizzakh ended with a joint photo session of the participants.
