The meeting, which took place in the conference hall of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, was attended by the Head of the Department of Social Development of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Higher Education Council Odil Abdurahmonov, Head of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment Otabek Khasanov, Deputy Khokim of Jizzakh region Akmal Savurbayev, rectors, vice-rectors of higher educational institutions in the region, and a number of senior staff. The meeting considered important tasks facing higher educational institutions, in particular, training competitive personnel worthy of the modern labor market based on high technologies, improving the quality of education to a higher level, and gradually increasing scientific potential. At the end of the meeting, instructions were given to the relevant officials on the effective organization of their implementation, and specific measures were determined to solve them.
