An event was held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute on the theme "The New Army of Uzbekistan - the support of the country, the pride of our people!" The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Jizzakh Regional Defense Department, Lieutenant Colonel A. Toshpu'latov, Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Jizzakh Regional Defense Department, Lieutenant Colonel (retd) R. Jakbarov, Deputy Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Jizzakh Regional Defense Department, Lieutenant Colonel (retd) I. Musurmonov, Deputy Head of the Center under the Jizzakh Regional Defense Department, Sh. Sulaymonov, Assistant to the Deputy Commander of the Central Military District, Military Psychologist Captain J. Khabibov, Head of the Department of Youth Work, Spirituality and Enlightenment M. Kholbekova, Deputy Deans for Youth Work of the Faculties, Tutors, Leaders and Coordinators, and Students. The speakers of the event spoke about the opportunities created for military personnel and their children. Including: 1. Free medical care; 2. Free use of railway transport; 3. Free use of urban passenger transport (except taxis); 4. Free sending of internal letters and postcards to those undergoing military service; 5. Financial assistance is provided to military personnel injured during service in accordance with the relevant law. 6. Citizens who have completed military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan are given an additional 50% bonus to the points they scored in the test when entering higher military educational institutions of the republic; 7. Students who have completed military service and are enrolled in paid contracts will be provided with financial assistance in the amount of 35% of the contract amount in the form of a payment, provided that they actively participate in the activities of student organizations of the Youth Union of the Republic of Uzbekistan during their studies; 8. Also, soldiers who have completed courses on entrepreneurial activities established among conscripts during their military service will be given appropriate certificates for the development of entrepreneurship. During the event, poems and songs praising the Motherland were performed by students and young people.
