A preventive roundtable discussion was held at the Faculty of “Energy Engineering” of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute on the topic “Effective ways to eliminate problems such as delinquency, drug addiction, and immorality that negatively affect the spiritual and moral state of young people.” The event was attended by the preventive inspector of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute I. Buriyev, the senior inspector for women's issues of the institute, captain N. Rasulova, professor of the Physics Department of the Faculty of “Energy Engineering” A. Mustafaqulov, deputy dean for work with youth and spiritual and educational work of the Faculty of “Energy Engineering” B. Mamatkulov, and students. The meeting was opened by the deputy dean for work with youth and spiritual and educational work of the faculty B. Mamatkulov with an introductory speech. In his speech, he announced that the roundtable was organized to strengthen awareness-raising activities among professors, teachers and students on the topic “Effective ways to eliminate problems that negatively affect the spiritual and moral state of youth, such as delinquency, drug addiction, and immorality” and introduced the participants to the roundtable. The speakers at the event provided information on the necessary measures to prevent students from falling under the influence of various negative ideas. Also, at a time when great attention is being paid to youth, students should acquire in-depth knowledge for the development of the Motherland, become mature specialists, fulfill their filial duty to the Motherland, as well as to their parents, and the work being carried out in our region to prevent delinquency and combat crime. At the end of the meeting, the responsible persons provided sufficient answers to the questions asked by the students.
