Today, January 15, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kungirotboy Sharipov visited the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. During the visit, the Minister got acquainted with the registrar's office and the Engineering School being established, and made his suggestions and important recommendations. For your information, the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute is creating higher engineering schools "Green Energy Engineering" and "Mechatronics and Robotics". The total cost of the engineering schools is approximately 8 billion soums, and the total area of ​​the building is 2,000 square meters. JV “BYD Uzbekistan Factory”, “Basalt Uzbekistan”, JSC “National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan”, JSC Jizzakh Main Power Networks Branch, Jizzakh Textile LLC have been identified as the main industrial partners, and cooperation will also be established with a number of enterprises, including JSC “Uzbekneftegaz”, JSC “Huaxin Cement Jizzakh”, JSC “Uzsanoatqurilishmateriallari”, JSC “Knauf”, JSC “Jizzakh Plastik”, etc. It is planned to admit 14 masters to this school in the 2025-2026 academic year, send 8 teachers for internships, and attract 4 professors and specialists. The Engineering School includes a Mechatronics and Robotics Center, a CAD/CAE training hall, a special room of the Masters Center, and a production area. School equipment is imported from a number of developed countries, including China, Russia, Germany, and Japan.
