A round table discussion was held at the Faculty of Transport Engineering of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute on the topic “The content and essence of some legal and regulatory documents regulating religious activities in national legislation”. The event was attended by the head of the Counter-Terrorism Department of the Jizzakh city police department, Lieutenant Colonel F.Uralov, chief specialist of the Committee for Religious Affairs J.Islomov, first vice-rector for youth issues and spiritual and educational work of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute S.Eshbekova, dean of the Faculty of Transport Engineering S.Dzhiyanbayev, teachers of the Department of Social Sciences J.Akhmedov and Z.Yodgorov, deputy dean of the faculty, tutors and first-year students. The speakers at the event provided information about the work being carried out to combat religious extremism and prevent young people from joining religious extremism. Students were also warned not to listen to or distribute banned lectures. At the event, students received answers to questions of interest.
