On February 13, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Otabek Mahkamov visited the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and got acquainted with the activities of the institute's scientific and practical center for research on alternative energies. During the visit, the Deputy Minister was accompanied by the rector of the institute, Alisher Usmankulov, vice-rectors, deans and heads of departments. The Deputy Minister got acquainted with the promising plans for the effective organization of the activities of the newly established School of Engineering at the institute. They also exchanged views on the areas that are important in carrying out scientific research today and the issues that researchers should pay attention to.
