The national film "Mahmudkhoj Behbudiy" was shown at the JizPI as part of the National Heritage Month.

In accordance with the letter No. 3/15-11-17 dated February 11, 2025, from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the national film "Mahmudkhoja Behbudi" was screened at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute as part of the National Values Month. The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, S. Eshbekova. In her speech, S. Eshbekova drew students' attention to the following points: — Today, as part of the National Values Month, we have gathered to hold a very important event. This month provides a unique opportunity to deeply study and pass on to future generations our national values, cultural heritage, and historical figures. Within this month, we are screening the film "Mahmudkhoja Behbudi," dedicated to the life and work of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi, a prominent figure in the history of Uzbek national culture and art. Mahmudkhoja Behbudi was one of the founders of Uzbek theater, who made an invaluable contribution to literature and art, and was a leading cultural figure of his time. His efforts in theater, art, and culture have been appreciated both by his contemporaries and by subsequent generations. In his works, Behbudi raised issues such as social justice, preserving the nation’s spiritual identity, and promoting national values, viewing theater as a transformative force in society, not just an art form. Today’s film highlights Behbudi’s rich creative legacy, his personality, and his contributions to our people through his art. It depicts his devotion to the development of theater art, his role in preserving national values, and, most importantly, his contribution to the spiritual and moral growth of the youth, especially you, the students. Through this screening, we will not only delve into Behbudi’s art but also reflect on the development history of Uzbek theater. This film encourages young people to respect our national values and pay attention to our history and culture. Moreover, today's event aims to increase young people’s interest and love for Mahmudkhoja Behbudi’s art and to enrich ourselves culturally and spiritually by studying his works. Dear students and youth, this film will help you better understand Behbudi’s unique creativity, his dedication to theater and culture, and his responses to the challenges of his time. The film will not only show you the beauty of art but will also teach you values such as humanity, justice, and patriotism. I invite you to enjoy this film and draw inspiration from Mahmudkhoja Behbudi’s legacy. Let’s remember that his contributions have served the cultural development of not only theater but the entire Uzbek nation. “Preserving our national values and passing them on to future generations is our duty.
