International cooperation Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute has been developing international cooperation since 2006. Today the institute maintains stable and productive partnerships with more than 80 foreign higher education institutions and organizations, which serve to strengthen the institute's scientific, educational and innovative potential. In particular, the institute works with leading universities and research centers of Russia, Turkey, China, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Poland, Italy and other countries on the basis of bilateral cooperation memoranda, joint programs, research projects and academic exchanges. The institute regularly participates in prestigious international programs funded by foreign donor organizations, including the Erasmus+, ITEC, JICA, KOICA and Fulbright grant programs. In particular, within the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program, the institute has successfully participated in 6 international projects to date. In addition, under the ITEC program of the Government of India, about 10 professors and teachers each year have the opportunity to undergo advanced training at foreign universities. The institute also creates wide opportunities for its teaching staff and researchers through the programs of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Fulbright. In recent years, scientific and teaching laboratories of the institute have been gradually renovated with modern equipment. These improvements have strengthened the institute's position in international rankings, including: - 1st place among higher education institutions of Uzbekistan in the UI GreenMetric ranking; - inclusion in the Top-900 Asian universities in the QS Asia 2024 ranking; - 58th place in the HE (Higher Education) ranking. These results prove that the institute pursues a sustainable development strategy based on the integration of science, education and innovation. The institute is also expanding its activities in academic mobility. During 2024, about 30 students took part in exchange programs at foreign higher education institutions and returned with educational and cultural experience. Such programs develop students' international skills and help them become competitive professionals.
