International Activities

International cooperation Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute has been conducting international cooperation activities since 2006. Currently, the institute has established stable and effective cooperation relations with more than 80 foreign higher education institutions and organizations, which serve to increase the scientific, educational and innovative potential of the institute. In particular, the institute operates on the basis of bilateral memorandums of cooperation, joint programs, scientific research projects and academic exchanges with leading universities and research centers of the following countries: Russia, Turkey, China, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Poland, Italy and other countries. The institute has been a regular participant in prestigious international programs funded by foreign donor organizations, including grant programs such as Erasmus+, ITEC, JICA, KOICA, Fulbright. In particular, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Education (CBHE) program, the institute has successfully participated in 6 international projects to date. In addition, under the ITEC program of the Indian government, about 10 professors and teachers have the opportunity to improve their qualifications at foreign universities every year. The institute also creates wide opportunities for its professors and teachers and researchers through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Fulbright programs. In recent years, the institute has gradually upgraded its scientific and educational laboratories with modern equipment. These upgrades have led to the strengthening of the institute's position in international rankings. In particular: • 1st place among Uzbek universities in the UI GreenMetric ranking; • Included in the Top-900 Asian universities in the QS Asia 2024 ranking; • The institute took 58th place in the HE (Higher Education) ranking. These results prove that the institute is pursuing a sustainable development strategy based on the integration of science, education and innovation. The institute is also further activating its activities in the field of academic mobility. During 2024, nearly 30 students participated in exchange programs at foreign higher education institutions, gaining educational and cultural experience. Such programs help students develop their international skills and become competitive professionals.
