General provisions
In the organizational structure of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Department II operates as a separate department and is directly subordinate to the rector of the institute. In its activities, the department is guided by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On General Military Duty and Military Service”, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 4, 2003 No. 119 “On Approval of the Regulations on Military Registration of Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the Charter of the institute and orders, instructions, instructions of the rector of the institute and these Regulations.
Main tasks of Department II
The department organizes and conducts military registration of professors, teachers, employees and full-time students working at the institute, those subject to military service and conscripts. The department formalizes the mobilization and reservation of wartime (pre-arrangement of their stay at their workplace during wartime) of the rector of the institute, vice-rectors, deans of faculties, their deputies, engineering and technical personnel, qualified workers in accordance with the list approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The department works in cooperation with the Department of Defense Affairs of the city of Jizzakh of the Jizzakh region. In accordance with Article 21 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On General Military Obligations and Military Service”, it formalizes information (Form 26) on students admitted to full-time education in the manner prescribed by the legislative act. It removes graduates who have been expelled from the ranks of students of the institute, students who have transferred their studies to another higher education institution, taken academic leave and expelled from studies from the institute and analyzes them in the prescribed manner.
The department has the following rights in relation to the performance of its assigned tasks: To perform the tasks assigned to it, the department requests the necessary information from the faculties and departments of the institute in accordance with the established procedure; Calls up professors, teachers, employees and students of the institute to the department and assigns tasks related to military service; Makes its proposals on the orders of the institute related to the department; Considers questionnaires received from various organizations, including city and district defense departments, and sends a response from the department in accordance with the established procedure.
