In preparation for the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan — the greatest and most cherished national holiday — and with the aim of preserving the environment and promoting a healthy lifestyle, a nationwide charity hashar is being held across the country on August 22–23 under the slogan “A Prosperous and Well-Maintained Neighborhood is the Beauty of the Nation.”
Early this morning, the charity hashar was also launched at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
During the hashar, professors, instructors, and staff carried out cleaning and beautification works in the academic buildings, including their surrounding areas, interior spaces, and classrooms.
The institute’s eco-active students also took an active part in the charity event. They performed a number of practical activities aimed at landscaping the campus, maintaining green areas, protecting the environment, and enhancing ecological awareness.
Such noble initiatives contribute to maintaining cleanliness and order within the educational institution, strengthening environmental responsibility, and fostering a greater sense of care and respect for nature among students.
