About the Department of Textile Technology
The Department of Textile Technology will operate as a new department under the faculty of "Industrial Technologies" of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute from the 2020-2021 academic year. Currently, a total of 16 professors and teachers work in the department, of which 4 are professors, 7 associate professors and 5 assistant professors. About 62 full-time and 157 part-time bachelor's students are studying in bachelor's programs, and about 10 master's programs are being studied by the teachers of the department. In addition, 4 doctoral students are conducting scientific research together with the professors and teachers of the department.

Our master's students in the department are improving their knowledge and skills in the specialty
-70720701 - Textile Products Technology (Weaving). In addition, 4 of our research teachers working in the department are conducting scientific activities in the specialty 05.06.02.- "Technology of Textile Materials and Primary Processing of Raw Materials" (technical sciences). Despite being a young department, the department of "Textile Products Technology" is engaged in training highly qualified personnel for society, and also occupies one of the highest positions among the departments of the institute in scientific research, organizational and methodological work, spiritual and educational work and sports work. Every academic year, the teachers of the department conduct classes in more than 42 specialized disciplines for students and master's students in highly organized classrooms. In particular, the educational process in the department is carried out excellently by qualified teachers. For this, our department has 3 rooms for conducting lectures to students. In addition, there are 3 rooms equipped with laboratory equipment for practical and laboratory classes. 1 of them is a scientific laboratory, equipped with all the laboratory equipment used for weaving, brought under the “ERASMUS +” grant project, and the rest are equipped with laboratory equipment from currently developing spinning and knitting enterprises. The average age of the department, mainly for full-time and part-time professors, is 40 years old. We all know that in our republic, attention to science, innovations and scientific potential is increasing from year to year. In this regard, it is worth noting that the teachers of our department also make a great contribution to the development of the field with their scientific research. The teachers of the department have prepared monographs, textbooks and study guides and are currently being used in teaching processes.
In addition, the professors and teachers of the department have published more than 100 scientific articles in journals under the auspices of the Academy of Sciences, and more than 500 in conference journals of the Republic and international level.
One of the greatest achievements is that over the past 7 years, the professors and teachers of the department have published more than 50 articles in journals and conferences on the Scopus database, and the number of citations in the Scopus database is increasing.
Talented students are assigned to the professors and teachers of the department, and together with them work is being carried out to participate in various competitions, publish theses and articles, and conduct scientific research.
Cooperation of the department with manufacturing enterprises and the establishment of branches of the department
In order to ensure the integration of education with science and production, the department has concluded cooperation agreements with the enterprises “Jizzakh Textile” LLC, “Tashtepa Textile” LLC, “Pakhtakor Textile” LLC, Pakhtakor Gold Textile LLC to conduct training, qualification production, pre-graduation internships, and scientific and practical work.
In addition, in September 2020, a branch of the department was opened at the enterprises “JIZZAX TEXTILE” LLC and in 2025 at PAXTAKOR GOLD TEXTILE LLC, where laboratory training sessions were held in some specialized disciplines of the department. A special room was allocated in this branch and equipped with the necessary laboratory equipment.
In the last 7 years, mutual economic agreements have been concluded between the department and enterprises, and about 50 million rubles have been transferred on the basis of these economic agreements.

RESULTS ACHIEVED ON THE BASIS OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND SCIENTIFIC RELATIONS WITH FOREIGN COUNTRIES
Assistant of the department Gulboyev Ulugbek Yakshiliq oglu went to the Republic of India in February to work as a researcher at the National Institute for Advanced Training and Research of Technical Teachers under the ITEC (Indian Economy and Cooperation Programme) program.
