Rakhmatullayev), “General Engineering Sciences and Agricultural Mechanization” (Department Head, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. G.G. Egamnazarov), “General Engineering Sciences, Metrology and Standardization” (Department Head, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Kh.Kh. Igamberdiev), “General Engineering Sciences” (Department Head, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. f.–m.f.s., docent A.Kh.Zokirov), “General Engineering Sciences” Department (department head of science, docent M.A.Aynakulov), “General Engineering Sciences” Department (department head of science, docent J.R.Turmatov), “General Engineering Sciences” Department (department head of science, docent R.B.Butayev). Currently, the department is operated under the name “General Engineering Sciences” and is headed by science, docent N.N.Narbekov.
Currently, 16 professors and teachers work at the department. Including 2 doctors of science, professors, 11 candidates of science, associate professors, 3 assistants. The department's staff is tasked with conducting educational and methodological, scientific and research work in the preparation of qualified personnel.
The department teaches subjects such as "Theoretical Mechanics", "Resistance of Materials", "Technical Mechanics", "Practical Mechanics", "Mechanics", "Construction Mechanics", "Materials Science and KMT", "Theory of Machines and Mechanisms", "Machine Details", "Engineering Psychology", "Management Psychology", "Pedagogical Technology and Pedagogical Skills", "Methodology of Teaching Special Subjects", "Academic Skills and Professional Competence", "Modern Methods of Enhancing Teaching", "Special Automobile Course", "Educational Technologies". Educational and methodological materials have been prepared for all subjects taught in accordance with the educational process.

Integration of science with education and production
The department has established strong ties with a number of higher and research institutions of our Republic, including: Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Technical University, Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. Research and scientific-methodological work is being carried out in collaboration with the above universities and institutes.
Ongoing work on innovative ideas and developments
To participate in the competition for the selection and financing of priority innovative, research, experimental and design and "startup" projects on a self-financing basis, the Department of "General Engineering Sciences" presented the following projects:
- Development of a device for separating soybean seeds from pods and substantiation of its parameters;
- Solar dryer;
- Method of watering plants in areas without water;
- Creation of a new type of arrow-shaped paw for the KXU-4X cultivator;
- Improvement of the ecological situation in the territory of industrial enterprises
- Creation of a new type of arrow-shaped paw for the CHKU-4A cultivator.
Results achieved through international cooperation and scientific relations with foreign countries
In order to introduce advanced foreign experience into the educational process, improve the quality and effectiveness of education and scientific research, international cooperation relations have been established with leading higher educational institutions in developed countries and scientific research institutes in the system of the Academy of Sciences:
• Fardaev A.R., associate professor of the department of "Mechanics and Design" of the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of the Kazan Federal University of the Russian Federation, head of the department, associate professor Turmatov Zh.R., and associate professor of the department O. Koychiyev, signed agreements on establishing cooperation relations in scientific and educational areas.
• In order to improve the quality of education in the department and strengthen international cooperation, the Department of "General Engineering Sciences" of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and the Department of "Mechanics and Design" of the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of Kazan Federal University, Associate Professor Fardaaev Albert Rifovich, will conduct online classes via the ZOOM platform for 12 hours in the subject "Mechanics" for students of the 2nd stage of the Joint Educational Programs Department, and 12 hours in the subject "Theoretical Mechanics" for students of the M-1-21 group.
Working with gifted students at the department
In order to meaningfully organize students' free time, the department operates a scientific circle "Mechanics". The research direction and scientific leaders and advisors of the existing scientific circles at the department are determined:
The scientific circle "Mechanics" (hereinafter referred to as the circle) is a voluntary structure that has the following goals:
- to familiarize students with the general concepts of mechanics;
- to teach students the general rules of mechanics;
- to give students an understanding of the application of mechanics to life;
- to arouse students' interest in creating new mechanisms through the laws of mechanics;
The activities of the “Mechanics” scientific circle are organized on the basis of an approved work plan, the number of participating students is 80, each talented student is assigned a responsible teacher (leader), and most importantly, a tutor who conducts the training, and the topics of their scientific and research work are approved. They participate in international and republican scientific conferences on these topics with excellent results.
