Information Resource Center - ARM (operated as the institute's library until June 23, 2006) was established in 1977. The ARM fund consisted of socio-political and specialized literature provided by related institutes in Tashkent, Moscow and Kiev. Currently, ARM serves 5,620 readers and users of electronic resources on the basis of a single library card. The user base includes professors, teachers, doctoral students, employees and students of the institute, as well as teachers and students of other higher educational institutions, trainees of advanced training courses, representatives of the telecommunications industry and other users. Through the ARM subscription system, broad opportunities have been created for using literature in ARM, ARM libraries and outside ARM. ARM fund consists of traditional (printed publications) and electronic databases. Today, ARM fund consists of 21,900 titles, 71,147 copies of literature, educational and methodological manuals. 84.3% of the fund is educational literature, 12.7% is socio-political literature, 3% is fiction, and the rest is other types of literature. The IRC's book fund includes traditional reader catalogs (systematic and alphabetical), electronic catalogs, as well as thematic card files on current life and topical issues of the Republic, which constitute an extensive information base.
