Duties of the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the Institute: Organizing the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the President, resolutions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and personnel training; - Organizing scientific work on the basis of state educational standards and ensuring the training of qualified personnel; - Organizing the implementation of orders, orders and instructions of competent higher organizations, resolutions of the Scientific Council of the Institute and orders of the rector on issues related to scientific and research processes; - Studying the development trends of the education system of advanced countries, developing methods and tools for implementing the tasks specified in the Law "On Education", the "National Program for Personnel Training" and other laws on education and ensuring their implementation; - Preparing proposals on the direction of activity and organizing work; -Coordination, organization and control of the work of departments and deaneries that ensure the process of scientific work; -Organization of scientific conferences, leadership of the methodological council of the institute and the work of improving pedagogical skills, generalization of advanced methodological experiences; -Providing general guidance on the process of preparation and publication of scientific work materials, including journals and collections of scientific works by the institute's employees, and all areas of educational and scientific activity of the institute; -Management and assistance in the process of searching, selecting and working with talented young people, and managing the process of preparing laureates of prestigious scholarships named after the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Navoi, Beruni, Ulugbek, Zulfiya and others from among students and interns-researchers-seekers; -Development of issues of efficient use of classrooms, improvement of technical equipment of auditoriums and laboratories; -Preparation, analysis and conclusion of annual activity reports of departments, faculties and departments, assessment of scientific work of professors and teachers using modern methods; -Perform constant cooperation with higher educational institutions in the field of scientific work, ensure active participation of professors and teachers in conferences, seminars, work with local authorities; -Determine, analyze and carry out work on improving the annual rating of the institute in the scientific field in accordance with the established procedure; -Active participation in the regular internal certification of the institute in accordance with the established procedure, preparation for and conducting external certification.
