Duties of the Vice-Rector for Finance and Economic Affairs: Organizing the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the President, decisions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and personnel training;
Ensuring the organization of financial activities and the preparation of qualified personnel based on state educational standards;
Overseeing the implementation of orders, directives, and guidelines from higher authorities, as well as the decisions of the University Council and the orders of the rector regarding financial and economic processes;
Studying the development trends of education systems in advanced countries, developing methods and tools to implement the tasks outlined in the "Law on Education," the "National Program for Personnel Training," and other educational laws;
Preparing proposals related to the area of activity and organizing work;
Developing proposals for the staffing of technical support departments and organizing efforts to provide these departments with qualified personnel;
Improving the effective use of classrooms, equipping departments, laboratories, household and cultural institutions, and enhancing the technical equipping of the institute's structural units with materials, equipment, and instruments;
Ensuring the necessary sanitary and hygienic conditions for the institute's service facilities, cultural and household institutions, classrooms, laboratories, rooms, educational-sports bases, student dormitories, canteens, and buffets, as well as organizing construction and repair work;
Developing and implementing plans for landscaping the institute's territory and student dormitories, organizing student self-service in the beautification of educational buildings and dormitories and their surroundings;
Documenting the receipt and expenditure of the institute's material assets;
Signing requests for material assets issued from warehouses, granting powers, and writing off outdated and expired materials and property;
Drafting contracts for renting out vacant buildings to ensure efficient use and organizing other entrepreneurial activities to improve the institute's financial situation, as well as monitoring the funds received from students for contract-based education;
Taking measures against staff who violate discipline, preparing proposals for terminating contracts with them;
Conducting, analyzing, and summarizing annual activity reports for departments.
