Postgraduate studies - last 3 years on the basis of a master's degree and end with the defense of a candidate's thesis and the award of the scientific degree of "Candidate of Science" in the chosen specialty.
Doctoral studies - based on the scientific degree of Candidate of Sciences, lasts 3 years, and ends with the defense of a dissertation to obtain the scientific degree of "Doctor of Sciences".
