The rector of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Professor Alisher Usmankulov, and the vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of the institute, Jamshid Abdunazarov, are currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This visit is being carried out to participate in the First Uzbekistan-Malaysia Education Forum, which will be held on February 4, 2025 at the Sultan Idris Educational University. On the first day of the visit, representatives of the institute agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Petronas University of Technology to expand academic and scientific cooperation. A meeting was also held with representatives of the prestigious Malaysian company MAG Architech, Design and Builders LTD and a cooperation agreement was signed. As part of the agreement, a preliminary agreement was reached on the construction of a new facility on the territory of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. This visit serves as an important step towards further strengthening the institute's international cooperation and developing scientific and academic cooperation with Malaysian universities.
