The Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages ​​of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute held a spiritual and educational event under the theme "We will live forever with the memory of Navoiy." The event was attended by Captain S. Mullajonova, a military officer of the Jizzakh regional National Guard Department, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs S. Eshbekova, Head of the Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Education M. Kholbekova, Deputy Deans for Youth Affairs of all faculties, professors, tutors, and students. The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs S. Eshbekova, then a report was heard by D. Soatova, Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages, on the role and significance of the scientific and artistic heritage of the great thinker and poet Alisher Navoi in the education of youth. Also, during the event, a video clip entitled “Remembering Navoi” prepared by the professors and teachers of the department was shown. In the artistic part, members of the “Nafosat” circle under the department, talented students from all faculties of the institute, students of the academic lyceum, and cadets of the military unit performed ghazals and rubaiyats, classical melodies and songs, as well as dances, and stage performances telling about the life of the writer.
