The national film "Mukumiy" was shown at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute as part of the National Values ​​Month. The event was attended by the head of the Department of Youth Work, Spirituality and Education M. Kholbekova, the institute's advisor on women's issues N. Gulboyeva, deputy deans for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs of all faculties, tutors and students. The plot of the film covers the beginning and formation of the creative path of the Uzbek poet Mukumiy. The film tells about Mukumiy's early loss of his mother, which leaves a certain mark on his work. It tells about the poet's education and work during the rise of the Russian Empire. Mukumiy creates a "Young Poets' Circle", which includes Furqat, Zavqiy, and Komil. After the death of the poet's father, his family falls into a difficult situation. He moves to Tashkent to help his family. The film tells the story of the poet's difficult financial situation and his life in a small room in one of the madrasas with his son Abramkhoja. Today, it is an urgent issue for students and young people to spend their free time meaningfully. The more spiritually mature the youth are, the stronger their immunity against various foreign diseases will be.
