Turan Academician of Sciences, Major General Telman Salohiddinovich Muratkhojayev was appointed as the head of this branch.

This was announced at the first meeting of the branch members by the director of the Mahfirat Institute of History of the Peoples of Central Asia, Vice President of the International Turan Academy of Sciences, Academician Ulugbek Bababekov.

During the meeting, the speakers spoke about the history, activities and goals of the Turan Academy of Sciences.

In connection with the opening of the Jizzakh branch of the Turan Academy of Sciences, the issue of establishing a council to organize the development of this branch and provide practical assistance to it was discussed.

Also, two candidates accepted to the Jizzakh branch of the Turan Academy of Sciences, Orozali Norboyev, head of the department of "Uzbek and foreign languages", and Sharof Musayev, head of the department of scientific research, innovations and scientific pedagogical personnel training, were awarded honorary academic titles and diplomas.

At the end of the meeting, important tasks ahead were agreed upon with the officials.
