In order to ensure the implementation of the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations No. 3/15-385 dated May 8, 2025, a celebration of national values was held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute within the framework of the “Literary and Educational Weeks”. Each nation has its own history, culture, traditions and values. It is these values that determine the national identity of the people. They are closely related to the worldview, lifestyle, moral standards, dreams and aspirations of people and form the spiritual image of society. After all, national values are a mirror of the spirituality of the nation, its heart and soul. The next spiritual and educational event held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute was organized on the basis of this idea. The event was organized by the head of the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages, Faculty of Chemical Engineering, O. Narboyev revealed. In his speech, he urged students and young people to pay closer attention to the essence of national values. He emphasized the following: By national values, we understand the system of customs, traditions, moral standards, language, religion, crafts, arts and other cultural values inherited from our ancestors. These values serve as the foundation not only for the past, but also for the spiritual development of the present and future generations. He recognized such qualities as hospitality, respect for elders, honor for younger ones, honesty, honor, patriotism as an integral part of our national values. These values have been passed down from generation to generation for centuries in families, neighborhoods, through folk oral art and practical activities. During his speech, the importance of preserving national values and deeply instilling them in the minds of the younger generation in today's globalization processes was emphasized. In order not to lose nationality under the influence of foreign cultures, every family, educational institution and society should feel responsible in this regard. A people that respects its own values will never disappear. After all, what makes a nation a nation is its historical memory, cultural heritage and spiritual wealth. As part of the event, the following artistic performances reflecting national values, our culture, customs, traditions and way of life were presented by the students of the institute: · Literature exhibition - an exhibition of literary and artistic works highlighting national values by the Institute's Information and Resource Center and a demonstration of students' creative works; · "Mushoira" - creative performances by members of the "Nazm va navo" circle; · "Doira sadosi" musical performance - performed by students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering; · "Tanovar" dance - performed by a member of the "Charm" club of the Faculty of Civil Engineering; · National songs - performed by students of the Faculty of Transport Engineering; · "Drawing Competition" - with the participation of creative students of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering; · Sports competitions: Tug of war - between the faculties of Energy, Civil Engineering and Transport; Lanka kick - between the teams of the Faculty of Transport Engineering; · "Kelin salom" stage performance - staged by the Women's Council and students of the Faculty of Industrial Technologies. Today's event widely highlighted the deep meaning of our national values, their role in the upbringing of the younger generation, their historical roots and their importance in our modern life. The students' activity, creativity and respect for our values deserve high praise. National values are a collection of the philosophy of life, spiritual world, dreams and hopes and moral criteria of our people, formed over the centuries. They remind us of who we are and pave the way for us to live together in unity and strength as a nation.
