At the beginning of the visit, the officials provided information on the activities of the newly established Ilgor Engineering School and the Jizzakh Youth Technopark located on the territory of the institute. According to the information provided by the officials, a project worth 5 billion soums was developed to establish an educational workshop for the Ilgor Engineering School, and the project was completed entirely at the expense of Uzavtosanoat JSC, based on lightweight construction (sandwich panels). Construction work is 80 percent complete, and finishing work is currently underway. The total area of the Ilgor Engineering School under construction is 2160 m. sq. m., including the Youth Technopark (educational building) - 1512 m. sq. m. and the Educational Workshop - 648 m. sq. m. (18x36 m). To date, a list of laboratory equipment for the Advanced Automotive Engineering School has been formed, and procurement is underway. An agreement has been reached with the responsible employees of BYD Uzbekistan Factory LLC JV on the equipment of each room of the Jizzakh Youth Technopark. Also, the Youth Technopark building, where theoretical classes are planned to be held during the organization of the Advanced Engineering School, is being re-equipped and work is underway to equip scientific laboratories. The Advanced Engineering School is planned to operate in the following areas of study: Theoretical classes: – Structure and theory of electric vehicles; – Production technologies in automotive engineering; – Design engineering: – Industrial engineering; – Programming engineering; – Electronic car assembly. Practical classes: – Welding processes; – Body sealing and painting processes; – Assembly processes; – Robot programming and maintenance; – Safety equipment in electric vehicles; – Quality control. First Deputy Minister Sh. Daliyev gave relevant instructions on the high-quality implementation of these works within the established deadlines. Also, important recommendations were given on the development and implementation of qualification requirements and curricula based on the proposals of employers and programs of foreign higher education institutions included in the TOP-300 list and their implementation in the educational process.
