On August 15, 2025, the Director of the BYD Uzbekistan Factory Joint Venture A. Muhitdinov and the Rector of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent O. Tuychiyev visited the Advanced Engineering School established at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
During the visit, the guests, together with the Rector of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute Alisher Usmankulov, agreed on the work to be carried out in cooperation.
For information, at present, the equipment of the engineering school has been fully completed and is ready for commissioning.
A project has been developed to organize the training workshop of the Advanced Engineering School with a building cost of 4.5 billion soums and equipment cost of 3.5 billion soums, and the project was completed entirely at the expense of Uzavtosanoat JSC on the basis of lightweight construction (sandwich panels).
The Advanced Engineering School is planned to operate in the following areas of study:
Theoretical training:
– Structure and theory of electric vehicles;
– Production technologies in automotive engineering;
– Design engineering;
– Industrial engineering;
– Programming engineering;
– Electronic vehicle assembly.
Practical training:
– Welding processes;
– Body sealing and painting processes;
– Assembly processes;
– Robot programming and maintenance;
– Safety equipment in electric vehicles;
– Quality control.
The curriculum of the Advanced Engineering School is fully developed based on the requirements of the BYD Uzbekistan Factory LLC JV automobile plant, and graduates who successfully complete the engineering school will have the opportunity to work at manufacturing plants.
