An open dialogue with young people was held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute as part of the "El-yurt Umidi" Foundation Days

On October 8, 2025, a large-scale educational marathon aimed at popularizing international educational programs in all regions of our country, involving young people in the global academic community, and strengthening the human capital of Uzbekistan began - the Days of the "El-yurt Umidi" Foundation.

The next destination was the city of Jizzakh, where an open dialogue with young people was held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

With the help of modern technologies, participants from other districts and cities of the region had the opportunity to connect to this meeting online.

The main goal of the initiative is to cover all regions of the country, raise awareness of the opportunities for as many talented young people as possible, especially from remote areas and representatives of socially vulnerable groups of the population, to receive education at leading universities in the world.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Jizzakh regional branch of the Management Efficiency Agency, the regional khokimiyat, the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, and the Department of Preschool and School Education.

As part of the educational marathon of the “El-yurt Umidi” Foundation, the executive director of the foundation, Gulnoza Ismailova, got acquainted with the activities of the Engineering School and the Scientific and Practical Center for Research on Alternative Energy at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and the conditions created for students' practical training.

Today, this Engineering School has become a platform for the formation of a new generation of engineers and technologists. Here, students of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute are practicing on modern high-tech equipment and real production models, acquiring modern professions.

Young specialists are learning to master welding technologies, program industrial robots, assemble automobile engines, and design cars. Such a format combines academic knowledge with practical skills.

During the visit, special attention was paid to the Scientific and Practical Center for Alternative Energy Research. Here, students are participating in real projects in the field of alternative energy and “green technologies”. This direction not only reflects global trends, but also corresponds to the strategic priorities of Uzbekistan in building a sustainable knowledge economy.

— Such technoparks are “human capital incubators”, where young people learn creative thinking along with the profession,” said G. Ismailova. — If a student assembles an engine with his own hands or programs a robot, he is already creating the future of the country. The development of such centers reflects the initiatives of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. As the Head of State noted, quality education and the development of human capital are the main driving forces for long-term development and poverty reduction.
