The 108th anniversary of the birth of the great son of the Uzbek people, statesman and public figure, writer Sharof Rashidov is being widely celebrated in our country.

Sharof Rashidov lived his whole life doing good to his people, all people of pure intentions, uniting them towards great goals and mobilizing them for noble deeds. This noble, wise and tolerant person, no matter what difficult trials he faced, was always faithful to high humanitarian ideas, leaving a good name and an indelible memory in the hearts of our people.

At the end of the event, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Sharof Rashidov was held.

The team of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute also took part in this event. The leadership of the institute and students paid tribute to the memory of Sharof Rashidov and laid a wreath at his foot, remembering his memory.
