A meeting was organized for students of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute with Dr. John Capece, Professor of the University of Florida, USA, Professor Mamedov Nurmamad Yashar oglu, Head of the Department of “Engineering Communications” of the Azerbaijan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and Abror Gadayev, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute M. Ochilov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation M. Eshkulov, heads of departments, professors, teachers, and students.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. John Capece, Professor of the University of Florida, delivered a lecture on the topic “Study and Scientific Research, Climate Change and the Origin of Drought” and shared his thoughts.

During the meeting, which continued in the form of a round table discussion, students had the opportunity to get answers to questions that interested them.

During the event, the guests were introduced to the activities of the Engineering School, the work being carried out there, educational buildings, and theoretical and practical training rooms.
