Acting Governor of Jizzakh region Ulugbek Mustafayev visited the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and got acquainted with the activities of the Engineering School and the conditions created for students' practical training.

Today, this Engineering School has become a platform for the formation of a new generation of engineers and technologists. Here, students of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute are practicing on modern high-tech equipment and real production models, acquiring modern professions.

30 talented and highly successful students who have completed the 2nd year from the 4 educational areas of the institute in the transport sector will be trained in 3-4 courses for 2 years based on BYD requirements and a modern curriculum. In this case, a dual education system will be established directly with the plant. As a result, they will additionally receive a special certificate. 30% of these students will be accepted to study at the engineering school for a master's degree.

Employees working at the BYD Uzbekistan factory joint venture will receive advanced training from professors and teachers from foreign higher educational institutions and will receive a special certificate from the engineering school.

In the field of vehicle maintenance and service, the youth of Jizzakh region will be trained in more than 10 modern professions (Special Professional Certificate will be issued).
The BYD Uzbekistan factory joint venture has created a new training platform at the engineering school and 7 experienced specialists in production processes have been hired at the engineering school.

Young specialists are learning to master welding technologies, program industrial robots, assemble automobile engines, and design cars. This format combines academic knowledge with practical skills.
