The Department of Youth Work, Spirituality and Education at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute organized another educational event dedicated to the prevention of drug addiction and HIV/AIDS. The head of the department, M. Kholbekova, opened the event and introduced the students to the guests.

At the meeting, the responsible specialists of the Jizzakh Regional AIDS Center explained to the students and young people about the ways of HIV transmission, compliance with personal hygiene rules, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The experts provided important recommendations such as not to react negatively to people with the disease, to pay attention to hygiene rules when communicating with them, and to store various items separately. Also, a question-and-answer session was organized among the students, and detailed answers were given to the questions that interested them.

The main goal of the meeting was to raise awareness among young people about dangerous vices such as drug addiction and HIV, to form a responsible approach in them, and to strengthen their motivation for a healthy lifestyle.
