Within the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-207 dated November 3, 2025 “On comprehensive measures to effectively protect the health of the population and the gene pool of the nation from drug addiction and drug crimes”, today, students of the institute, led by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, S. Eshbekova, visited the address-colony No. 30 of the 3rd Regional Coordination Center.

The main goal of the visit was to deeply instill in the minds of young people the serious consequences of drug addiction and drug crimes, prevent crimes, promote a healthy lifestyle, and further strengthen social responsibility among students.

During the visit, the students and youth got acquainted with the rehabilitation and psychological support training aimed at re-adapting convicts to society in the correctional colony. They also gave real-life examples of the reasons why convicts turn to crime, the destructive impact of drug addiction on human life, regret and serious consequences.

During the event, experts provided detailed explanations to the students and youth about the preventive work being carried out to prevent crime, the cooperation of competent organizations, and the responsibility of young people in ensuring stability in society. The students received detailed answers to their questions.

S. Eshbekova, emphasizing that this visit is not only practical, but also extremely educational, called on the students and youth to choose the right path in life, make a worthy contribution to the development of society with a sound mind and strong will.
