The 3rd regional stage of the “Student Theater Studios” festival has solemnly opened at the Jizzakh Musical Drama Theater.

The event was organized to increase the interest of students and young people in theater art, enhance their spiritual development, and enhance the effectiveness of cultural and educational work in higher educational institutions.

Student theater studios at Gulistan State University, Jizzakh branch of the National University of Uzbekistan, Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, and Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute participated in this stage. The teams presented theatrical performances based on the works of Abdulla Qahhor’s “Ayajonlarim”, Said Ahmad’s “Ufq”, and Usmon Azim’s “Ular adam emaslar”.

According to the decision of the jury, the play “Ular adam emaslar” staged by students of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University was highly appreciated and was sent to the Republican stage. The second place went to the Jizzakh branch of the National University of Uzbekistan, and the third place went to the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and Gulistan State University.

The best performers and creative directors were also recognized in separate nominations. It is a pleasure to note that Ochilov Mirzohid Shavkat, an active participant in the “Ibrat” student theater studio of our institute, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, 721-23 QMB and KICH group, won the “Best Creative Student” nomination. Mamatkulova Gulsanam Urazboy qizi, a student of the Faculty of Cybersports, 502-25 BH group, was recognized as worthy of the “Best Woman” nomination.
