A roundtable discussion was organized at one of the schools in our city based on the Address of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan.

Today, on January 6, a meeting was held between the professors and teachers of the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and the staff of Secondary School No. 2 under the city’s preschool and school education system.

During the meeting, a discussion was conducted on the Address delivered on December 26, 2025, by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, as well as its essence and significance.

The event was opened by the school principal. Afterwards, the Head of the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages, O. Norboyev, along with associate professors N. Baysariyev, X. Khamdamova, M. Ziyayeva, D. Abduvakhobova, and A. Khazratkulova, spoke and shared their views on the importance of the Address for improving the well-being of the people, ensuring the further development of the country, and building a New Uzbekistan.

During the discussion, it was emphasized that the tasks outlined in the Address across six key areas should serve as a practical roadmap for every citizen’s work plan. Special attention was paid to the clearly defined role of educators in fostering patriotism among young people and the diligent efforts of the population in achieving these goals.

In addition, a video clip was shown depicting the President’s visit on December 2 to Jizzakh region, including his visit to the Automotive Engineering School established under the Institute.

The department’s professors and teachers also provided detailed information about the large-scale activities carried out at the Institute, the attention given to education, existing opportunities, and the conditions created for students’ learning. The parties agreed to further strengthen close cooperation between the department and the school, to regularly organize “Open Doors Day” events at the Institute with the participation of students and their parents, and to jointly prepare educational materials through co-authorship in scientific and methodological work.

As the meeting was organized in the form of an open dialogue, school teachers received comprehensive answers to their questions regarding the Institute.
