Today, a meeting dedicated to combating crimes in the field of cybersecurity and information technologies was held at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
The event was attended by the Head of the Jizzakh Regional Department for Combating Crimes in the Field of Information Technologies of the Internal Affairs Department, Lieutenant Colonel Sh. Qosimov; the Deputy Head of this Department and Head of the Cybersecurity Division, Captain Q. Boltaboyev; a responsible officer of the State Security Service; the Vice-Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute for Financial and Economic Affairs, Y. Rajabov; as well as professors, lecturers, and technical school staff.
During the meeting, participants received comprehensive information on modern forms of cybercrime, preventive measures, rules for safe use of the Internet, mechanisms for protecting personal data, and issues related to information culture. Specialists provided real-life examples of common mistakes observed among both adults and young people, explained their legal consequences, and emphasized the importance of caution and strict compliance with legal requirements.
At the conclusion of the event, participants received clear and detailed answers from specialists to their questions.
Such meetings contribute to improving the digital literacy of staff and students, strengthening legal awareness in the use of information technologies, and further expanding practical skills in combating cybercrime.
