An award ceremony was held to honor the recipients of the “Rector’s Scholarship” and the winners of sports competitions.

Pursuant to Joint Resolution No. 10 dated March 11, 2025, adopted jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the Ministry of Sports, the Athletics Federation, and the Central Asian Walking and Running Academy on the procedure for organizing the “Talaba-yugur” volunteer running sports competition to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and encourage their regular participation in sports, the “Talaba-yugur” volunteer running competition is held twice a year—in the spring and autumn seasons.

On September 29, 2025, more than 500 students of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute actively participated in the “Talaba-yugur” volunteer running competition held in Jizzakh region. In accordance with Clauses 28, 29, 30, and 31 of the Regulations approved by the Joint Resolution, 22 students (separately among boys and girls), who secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places by academic year, were recognized as winners. In particular, students who won 1st place were awarded the “Rector’s Scholarship” in the amount of 50 percent of the base scholarship for six months (1,709,010 UZS); 2nd place winners received 50 percent of the base scholarship for four months (1,139,340 UZS); and 3rd place winners received 50 percent of the base scholarship for two months (569,670 UZS).

On January 17, 2026, an award ceremony for students who won the “Talaba-yugur” volunteer running competitions was held ceremonially. During the ceremony, the Institute’s Rector presented vouchers to the student winners.

The event was combined with the award ceremony for winners of sports competitions held in connection with January 14—Defenders of the Motherland Day.

In cooperation with the Department of Physical Education and the “JizPI” Sports Club, sports competitions among faculty members and staff were organized under the slogan “Athlete – Defender of the Motherland” in volleyball, tug of war, table tennis, chess, and checkers.

Participants and teams who actively took part and achieved victories in these competitions were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts by the Institute’s Trade Union Committee.
