Today, special attention is being given in our country to supporting young people in obtaining quality education, pursuing vocational training, and addressing existing challenges.

These issues were also highlighted in the recent Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis and our multinational people on December 26, 2025.

On January 17, 2026, at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, a meeting was held between the Rector of the Institute and student group leaders to ensure the implementation of the tasks outlined in President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s Address to the Oliy Majlis and the people.

The meeting addressed topics such as improving education quality, preparing competitive specialists, creating additional conveniences for students, preventing crime and corruption, and identifying problems and solutions across different academic years.

The meeting was attended by the Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Alisher Usmankulov, Vice-Rectors in charge of relevant fields, the Rector’s Advisor responsible for maintaining socio-spiritual stability among students, N. Abdurakhmonov, faculty deans, department heads, division heads, and student group leaders.

The meeting was held in a traditional open-dialogue format. During the discussion, participants shared views on fully implementing the tasks outlined in the Address at the institute, ensuring the execution of reforms, and prioritizing future directions.

Detailed answers were provided to every question raised by the students. Instructions and assignments were given to the relevant officials regarding the students’ questions and proposals.
