On January 24, 2026, Alisher Usmankulov, Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, met with unemployed youth residing in the “O‘ratepa” and “Obod” neighborhoods of Jizzakh city assigned to him.

The Rector spoke with each young person individually to learn about their problems, suggestions, aspirations, and interests.

During the meeting, taking into account the youth’s desires and needs, job opportunities were offered from various organizations based on available resources.

At the end, a set of tasks was determined to address youth employment in collaboration with the organizations.

Afterwards, the youth got acquainted with the activities of the Institute’s Automotive Engineering School and the Scientific and Practical Center for Alternative Energy Research.

Notably, after the meeting, a number of young people were directly taken to selected organizations, communicated directly with employers, and agreements were reached regarding their employment.
