The second day of the visit to Óbuda University.

The second day of the visit aimed at strengthening international cooperation and studying advanced experience was also productive and dynamic.

Members of the delegation led by the Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, A. Usmankulov, first visited the John von Neumann Faculty of Information Technology of Óbuda University to closely familiarize themselves with the faculty’s activities.

Initially, the Dean of the John von Neumann Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. György Eigner, provided the delegation with detailed information about the faculty’s operations. Afterwards, the Chief Information Technology Officer, Dr. András Molnár, introduced the delegation to the laboratories established at the faculty, including artificial intelligence laboratories.

Subsequently, the delegation visited the Sándor Rejtő Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering. The delegation was warmly and cordially welcomed by the faculty dean and staff. The faculty’s educational, scientific, and practical activities were studied in detail.

The second half of the day continued in an even more intensive manner. During this session, the following faculty leaders shared their experience:

Dean of the Donát Bánki Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering — Dr. habil. Tibor Farkas;

Dean of the Kálmán Kandó Faculty of Electrical Engineering — Dr. habil. Róbert Szabolcsi;

Dean of the Miklós Ybl Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering — Dr. Anthony Gall;

Vice-Dean of the Károly Keleti Faculty of Business and Management — Dr. János Varga.

In studying the activities of the faculties, particular attention was paid to digital management systems and issues of education quality.

In addition, the parties held discussions on launching joint educational programs, expanding the exchange of faculty members and students, involving students, master’s and doctoral candidates, as well as academic staff in international grant and scholarship programs, and integrating international programs for technical colleges.

The second day of the visit opened new opportunities for Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. Strong international cooperation in the fields of science, education, and innovation is taking shape.
