A press tour was organized at the Automotive Engineering School of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

A press tour was organized at the Automotive Engineering School of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, attended by Akmal Savurbayev, Deputy Governor of Jizzakh Region for Youth Policy, Social Development, and Spiritual-Educational Affairs, the leadership of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, journalists, bloggers, and representatives of mass media.

During the press tour, participants became acquainted with the theoretical and practical training buildings of the engineering school, as well as the facilities created there.

For reference, the school has established cooperation with “BYD Uzbekistan Factory” and “ADM Jizzakh” enterprises to train qualified specialists and facilitate their employment.

At the engineering school, educational programs in four specialized areas of the transport sector are organized using a modern approach. Specifically, second-year students who achieve high academic results receive two years of dual education on modern training platforms developed according to BYD factory requirements. Students also participate in practical sessions in direct collaboration with the factory, giving them the opportunity to obtain a special work certification.

Short-term training courses are offered for candidates seeking employment at automobile factories, factory workers, and unemployed youth, allowing them to learn professions of their interest. A mini BYD automobile production conveyor has also been established here. The production workshop includes welding, painting, assembly, and quality control departments.

Specialized rooms have been established for electric vehicles and charging stations, electric vehicle maintenance, industrial and software engineering, cost and reverse engineering.

In the global automotive industry, there is one rule: a company that does not analyze its competitors cannot develop.

At this engineering school in Jizzakh, for the first time, students are taught skills such as technical-analytical product comparison, cost modeling, production optimization, and benchmarking processes against global standards.

The engineering school is open not only to students but also to young professionals and specialists wishing to work in the field. Qualification improvement programs, initial professional training courses, and practical learning modules for entrepreneurs are conducted here, with active participation from experienced engineers and industry experts.

The main goal of the school is to introduce students to the practical work environment before entering the workforce as trained specialists. As a result, graduates become highly skilled, competitive professionals who fully meet market demands.
