On February 3, 2026, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Adkham Ikramov, visited Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. During the visit, he familiarized himself with the conditions being created for students, including sports infrastructure, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, and the development of mass sports.

The Minister emphasized the importance of further increasing students’ interest in sports and organizing their free time in a meaningful way. The ongoing work on developing various sports was positively assessed, and discussions were held regarding future plans.

As a logical continuation of this visit, on February 6, 2026, a gift from Minister Adkham Ikramov was delivered to the institute — a table tennis board, rackets, and balls.

Students received the gift with great enthusiasm, expressing confidence that it would further increase their interest and engagement in sports.

These sports equipment will help expand opportunities for students to engage in physical activity at the institute.
