A conference on the topic “Knowledge and Women: Towards a Sustainable Society” was held.

On February 11, at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, a conference on the topic “Knowledge and Women: Towards a Sustainable Society” was held in honor of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The event was dedicated to highlighting women’s scientific potential, their role in building a sustainable society, and their strategic importance in the advancement of science and education.

The conference was attended by the institute’s leadership, professors, women scientists, field specialists, and students. In particular, participants included Z. Pardayeva, Chair of the Jizzakh Regional “Olima” Association under the Uzbekistan Women’s Committee, Doctor of Philology, Professor; S. Eshbekova, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work; X. Mustafoqulova, Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages; B. Rashidova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences; M. Matchonova, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering; along with a group of women scientists.

The main goal of such events is to enhance women’s scientific potential, promote their strategic role in society—particularly in sustainable development and the advancement of science and education—raise public awareness, inspire young generations through science, and encourage the professional activity of women scientists.
